One weird thing about motherhood is that sometimes, when we’re having a busy day, my hunger signals can kind of go silent until suddenly, I’m not just hungry, I’m HANGRY. It’s become very important to have good snacks in the house. These chocolate chip energy bites have been my go-to snack for the last couple weekends. They’re loaded with protein, so they can easily tide me over between meals. And the chocolate chips also help to satisfy a sweet craving without over doing it.
