Some of my favorite beauty products are under $10 and can be found at your local drugstore. I’ve been using Neutrogena Makeup Remover towlettes for years, and I think they are the BEST at removing makeup quickly and gently. And if you aren’t in the habit of using makeup remover before cleansing, I highly recommend that you start! Your facial cleanser will work much more effectively when it has less to clean up.
L’Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes has been my go-to mascara lately. It gives tons of length and volume without getting clumpy. I have a lot of opinions on mascara (most of which I will save for a future post) but one of them is that the brush is everything. Without a good brush, lashes stick together and can’t be easily separated. This brush is the shizz! It separates lashes well but still gives each one a good coat.
One of my favorite lip products for easy, natural lips is Revlon Just Bitten lip stain + balm in Victorian. The stain stays on all day, and I just reapply clear lip balm over the top.
Since Leo was born, we have been dealing with a serious case of infant eczema. It’s under control now, but we continue to use really mild products to keep it from flaring up. One of the moisturizers we discovered through our long ordeal with this was Vanicream, and it has become my new favorite body lotion for any dry patches. It’s so mild, has no fragrance, and soaks in without leaving a greasy layer on the skin.
And of course, probably my all time favorite drug store beauty product is Essie nail polish. The colors, the packaging, the many shades of greige…just thinking about it makes me want to go paint my nails right now.
